M3G Viewer

The M3G Viewer is a standalone application for viewing the contents of the 3D Graphics File Format that complements the Mobile 3D Graphics API (M3G). It presents the contents of the file in a hierarchical structure mirroring the M3G format.

The viewer is an Open Source project that can be found on SourceForge. The M3G Viewer project can be found at http://sourceforge.net/projects/wz-m3gvw/. Downloads can be obtained for both the Windows and Linux platforms.

Mobile 3D Graphics API (JSR 184)

The Mobile 3D Graphics API for the Java 2 Platform, Micro Edition (J2ME) is defined by the Java Community Process (JCP) in JSR 184. The API is an optional package expected to be used with MIDP and version 1.1 of the Connected Limited Device Configuration (CLDC). The API defines low- and high-level programming interfaces that bring efficient, interactive 3D graphics to devices with little memory and processing power. The API is designed for devices with no hardware support for 3D graphics or floating-point operations.
